EMER is an acclaimed composer, creative artist, and violinist from Ireland and currently based in Los Angeles. With a reputation for crafting evocative and emotionally resonant soundscapes, Emer has lent her talents to a wide range of critically acclaimed films, television series, games, VR experiences and live performances. Emer is also the founder of Emersion Music, focused on creating experiential and immersive site-specific concerts that redefine the role of the audience.
Under her artist identity EMER captivating melodies, hypnotic strings, and existential soundscapes create an organic and synthetic crossover of language and texture that pushes the boundaries of contemporary classical composition. Joined by Mark Bassett, Hakeem Holloway and Mehmet Aydin on strings, EMER's live performances are mesmerizing experiences not to be missed.
Mark Bassett’s high-octane and dynamic cello playing has led him to create music with a vast variety of genres and performers. A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, Mark has collaborated with artists like Josh Groban and Lindsey Sterling. He has toured with bands such as Evanescence, Hanson and Celtic Thunder. Now residing in Los Angeles, his passion for film and video game music has led him to be an in demand recording artist.
An active performer and multi-instrumentalist, violist Mehmet Aydin has frequently appeared in productions, venues and festivals around the world including but not limited to Carnegie Hall, NPR Music Live, ArtBasel, Burning Man, Istanbul International Music Festival, Lincoln Center, Barclays Center, Summer Stage at Central Park, Le Poisson Rouge, House of Yes, Rockwood Music Hall, Mysteryland Festival, Royce Hall, the Fillmore and many others throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.
A native of Los Angeles, Hakeem Holloway has played and performed with many ensembles of various genres over the span of 25+ years. His formal music education took him to the east coast, mid-west, here in LA, and even international while he was living and working in Germany. Since returning home to California 3 years ago from his time abroad, he is now most active as session player for both film scoring, album/song recording, and freelancing with live performing ensembles.
Darrel “Friidom” Dunn, is a multifaceted artist and innovator in the field of movement. Friidom is the creator of “The Epiic” movement philosophy, which combines elements of Krump, Street Styles, and philharmonic conducting to express emotions and stories through music and motion. He developed this unique style as a way of coping with his personal challenges with anxiety, depression, and health issues. He uses “The Epiic” to create immersive and cinematic experiences that inspire audiences to discover their inner creativity and potential. His work aims to transform the world of movement, visual arts, technology, and entertainment.
